I believe that life is full of beautiful possibilities, yet sadly most people are going through life in survival mode and miss out on the wonder and joy that life has to offer.
Because of stress, negative self-talk and a distorted view of life, many people hold themselves back from reaching their true potential and finding the inner peace and happiness they’ve been craving.
It’s my mission to show people how to live with conscious intention so they can lower their stress, feel in control of their life and confidently go after anything they want.
Over my decade-long career as a Registered Nurse I’ve seen the impact that stress and the burden of life has on people’s health and wellbeing. I worked in the Intensive Care Unit for many years and I could see a direct correlation between stress, lifestyle and environmental factors, and the illnesses and diseases that brought people into the hospital.
I knew that if I really wanted to make a difference, I had to address this LONG BEFORE people ever ended up in the hospital.
This sparked a journey of professional and personal development that led to certifications in Neuro-linguistic Programming, Meditation, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and advanced physiological knowledge of the impact of stress on the body and mind.
I always joke that there was an invisible neon “open” sign above my nursing station because my colleagues would often come to me to seek advice, to receive coaching and perspective on their struggles, or to talk with someone they knew would listen with compassion and without judgement.
I had an opportunity to apply and hone my skills while working in a public health promotion clinic. Here I worked with people one-on-one as well as led several workshop series related to mindset work, transformational psychology, bone health, diabetes, stress management, emotional eating, and mental health recovery.
I transitioned my practice to my online business and have been providing one-on-one and small group coaching every since.
